Account and Settings

This guide explains common account and settings tasks for schools and staff.

Profile basics

  • Keep your name and contact details accurate.
  • Use a phone number you can access for account recovery.

School settings (admin-only)

Common setup areas:

  • School profile (official contacts and school details)
  • Academic settings (academic year, terms, class structure)
  • Grading/report settings (based on your workflow)
  • Fees settings (templates, due dates, payment tracking rules)

Managing users (admin-only)

  • Create staff users with the minimum permissions they need.
  • Deactivate accounts for staff who leave the school.
  • Use password reset for staff who cannot log in (avoid sharing passwords).

Getting support faster

When contacting support, include:

  • School name
  • What you were trying to do
  • Screenshot (if possible)
  • Date and approximate time
  • The affected student/staff name or ID (when relevant)
